Welcome back to the exciting journey of shaping the Humber place narrative. It is with great enthusiasm that I extend my deepest gratitude to all contributors, leaders, and ambassadors who have propelled this initiative forward with dedication and passion.
Our collective efforts are more than just creating a brand; they are sculpting the very soul of our community. Together, we are architects of change, redefining the essence of how we engage, conduct business, and activate public spaces. Each voice, each idea, contributes to the vibrant tapestry of the Humber region.
The commitment of hundreds of individuals, spanning diverse backgrounds and perspectives, underscores the shared values that bind us together. Recent focus group sessions and the launch of our survey are testament to our resolve to foster inclusive dialogue and participation. We are indebted to the collaboration between business, community, and academia, recognising the pivotal role each sector plays in shaping our collective identity.
As we stand at the threshold of transformation, let us embrace our roles as place leaders with conviction and purpose. Realising the true potential of the Humber region lies within our grasp. I encourage you to maintain your participation, sharing your insights as we journey towards our grand unveiling during Humber BizWeek in June.
Together, let us ignite the spirit of innovation and unity, crafting a narrative that reflects the dynamism and promise of the Humber place brand. Our story is yet to be published and it is through our collective actions that its exciting chapters will unfold. Thank you all for participating.
Bill Walker, Chair, Future Humber

This last week we have invited you to continue participation in vital conversations unfolding throughout the Humber region and beyond. These discussions are instrumental in shaping our collective vision for the future development, presentation, and perception of our cherished Humber.
As stakeholders and citizens, we hold the power to influence how our region is portrayed to investors, businesses, employees, and visitors—those we aspire to attract both now and in the years to come.
We thank all attendees for their active participation, thought-provoking contributions, and subsequent efforts in disseminating discussions surrounding the development of the Humber place narrative. We are also thankful to those who have amplified the reach of our online survey to a broader audience.

As we refresh our Humber place narrative we are already underway and seeking participation through tours, site visits, ThinkTanks, focus groups and 1-to-1 conversations, as well as carrying out in-depth desk research.
To enhance this work and to make the narrative representative, we need the views of as many people as possible, which includes those already in the Humber, elsewhere in the UK and the rest of the world.
Complete the survey before March 31st 2024.
